What a boring day, went to classes and drove up. It was sooooooooo windy back at school x.x I about got blown over the first time I walked out the door. Everything went okay today and driving up was no different than usual, save for the 15 miles of one-lane road leading out of Springfield! Not to mention the drivers that only wanted to do 45 in a 60 zone x.x Enjoyed one of my favorite past times, blazing up T highway on final approach to Mom's, I think I got up to 100 this time... >>;;; I love my car. Speaking of my car, when I came out to get into my car I noticed that someone stole the windshield wiper on my passenger side, I was pretty mad x.x So I'll have to buy a new one on my way down to Mom's tomorrow. We're having a small party tomorrow afternoon, mostly family. One major thing today, I got my federal tax return! I have money! For now anyway, it's got places it needs to go already x.x Anyway, that about covers today. Nighty night!

Well, as you can see a new layout, spawned out of boredom and a random feeling of creativity. I think it looks like, not the best thing that I've whipped up, but meh...it'll work. I'll come up with a new picture to use sometime in the near future.
Anyway, going home tomorrow, Mom's birthday is on Sunday, so I figure I should be home for that and to spend some time with the family, I haven't driven home in about a month and a half, though both of my parents and my siblings have come to see me in that time. Things have been up and down since my last real post... Thanksgiving came and went, my we had our first snow the night before and my grandmother didn't make it over to Mom's from a combination of that and her still being pretty sick at the time. I don't know if they've figured out what the problem is or not, but she hasn't been back in the hospital since, at least that I know of. The first week of December my mare, Ginger, got out of the pasture at the place my grandmother rents, she got on the road and got hit by a car, they ended out putting her down. I was pretty upset about it and I guess to an extent I still am. I'd had Ginger for some 16 years and she was the only thing in the world that I truly could truly call mine. She wasn't just a horse or a pet to me, she was like family. I really miss her... Life continued however and the semester ended, I did semi-decent in my classes and was able to get off of academic probation, a relief to say the least. Christmas came and went, I ended out getting a bunch of money, as I didn't ask for anything. This semester has been going okay so far, nothing terribly exciting has happened yet, they changed the name of the school after 19 years of fighting in the state congress, so on August 28th, the school will officially be known as Missouri State University. My roommate and I are currently talking about moving off campus to an apartment next year, which will be nice, the one we're looking at is about 3 blocks north of my dorm, so I could easily ride a bike to campus, we'll see what happens though. Doug and Nate kicked out the drummer and bass guitarist out of their band and have since gotten a new drummer/bass guitarist, Corey, and new singer, Colbey. They also have someone who might be coming to play drums, in which case Corey will go to playing bass. They've been practicing almost everyday and are working on new material, which sounds really good, I've heard most of it. They were selected to play in the campus Battle of the Bands, which was supposed to be on the 18th I think, but Corey was going to be out of town, so they were going to have to play acoustic. But, they lucked out and the school pushed the Battle of the Bands back to the 22nd of April, so they should have the whole band there, I'm really excited. Anyway, I still have a lot to talk about, but it's 3:15, so I should probably turn in. I'll try to keep up with this, no promises though. G'night.
P.S. I have this song and Helena by My Chemical Romance stuck in my head now...

You are a RPIG--Reserved Practical Intellectual Giver. This makes you a Rock of Gibraltar.
You are loyal, kind, thoughtful and conscientious. You're a good person. You make everyone around you happier and better, even if you yourself are not at your happiest or best. You just care so much about your friends and loved ones that you can't help giving them everything of yourself. It can wear you out, but you'd never let on.
You're successful, smart and fun to be with, but your self-esteem could use some boosting. You don't like conflict, and you don't like demanding things for yourself, so you can feel unappreciated. But then you wonder if you don't deserve to be appreciated. You do!
You have many small crushes, but it takes you ages to get to a serious stage with someone. You get so caught up second-guessing yourself and worrying if the other person really *likes* likes you that you never dare to make the first move. Generally you end up with another clever RPIG who knows one when s/he sees one. This adds up to one long courtship. Fortunately this also adds up to one long marriage.
You would never cheat. You would never hurt anyone's feelings. You are so sympathetic and give so many second chances that it takes a lo-o-ong time for anyone to get on your bad side.
Your only problem is you can be *too* thoughtful -- you can end up worrying and getting hung up over nothing.
You may be a boy scout.

Not much to comment on these past two days, went to classes and etc. Last night I stayed up waaaaay too late, so that's why I'm turning in early tonight. I was waiting on some guys to come back with supplies to make a Gaso-Lantern, but they didn't get back until around 3:30, so I said forget it and went to bed. My dry erase board fell off the wall at like 5 am and scared the crap out of me while I was sleeping x.x So I was pretty tired this morning. Tonight we had the little kids coming through to pick up Halloween Candy. I've got a speach on Friday, but not really prepared for it, so I finished my Math Assignments for the week so I won't have to worry about those tomorrow. I've got a quiz in Math and Law tomorrow, so that should be interesting x.x Anyway, I'm going to go to bed, I'm exhausted. Nighty night!

It has just come to my attention that I've drank about 98 Jones Sodas since I moved back to college o.o
Not much happening today, got up about 11 and was still tired as hell, went to Speech got out early and went to lunch. Same as always. Played some games to keep myself entertained, still having a bit of trouble keeping occupied, but oh well, not much I can do. Made two more of the Legends of the Ninth Floor posters and put them up. Watched RAW... Had a floor meeting at 11 and have been sitting here since I got back from that. I have atleast one thing to look forward too tomorrow, the return of the Gaso-lantern, so we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I'm kinda tired, so I'm gonna hit the sack, nighty night

Sorry, should have updated over the weekend, but there wasn't much to say. Dad couldn't make his birthday dinner on Friday night because he had to work up in Leavenworth, then Downtown. He didn't make it home until nearly midnight. My brother rented some seriously weird game called Katamari Damacy, which is a Japanese Import Game, so ofcourse it was going to be odd. Got up at 8:30 Saturday morning and went with Dad to the store to get some stuff for me to eat here a campus. Came home did laundry, watched more Katamari Damacy, loaded up and went to Mom's to have dinner and stay the night. Found out my Grandma is in the hospital, she's got internal bleeding somewhere and the doctor's can't figure out where...so I don't know how long she's gonna make it... They've put 6 units of blood into her this weekend to keep her stable and they're going to take her to a different hospital to try and figure out where she's losing the blood at. I woke up at 7:30 this morning to go with Mom to visit her in the hospital before I went back to campus, I was fine until she started talking about how she needed to decide what she want them to do with her when she died...started saying that she wanted her blood sent to some doctor and that she was thinking about sending her body to some medical school so students could practice on her and maybe learn more about the diseases she has. I almost couldn't stand to sit there and listen to her talk like that, about broke down and cried, but I sucked it up... God I don't need this right now...

Going home tomorrow for Dad's birthday, looking forward to a good home cooked meal. Went to Law today for the first time in a week and a half, shame on me. I don't really have a reason to skip classes anymore I guess, so that won't be happening too often from here on out, I can only have 3 more absenses in Law anyway x.x Feeling a bit geeky, I've been upstairs watching some guys from my floor play Lord of the Rings Risk for the two hours. o.o Double Geeky. They're still no where near getting done, so I decided to call it a night. Gaia introduced an interesting feature, with night-time maps now I think they look pretty cool:
Barton at Night
Gambino at Night
Durem at Night
Anyway, it's getting pretty late, so I'm hitting the sack. Nighty night!

Not much happened today, went to all of my classes. Had dinner, then made up 4 more "Legends of the Ninth Floor" posters for the hallway, it all keeps me occupied, I'm not used to this much free time on my hands. Played a bit more Donkey Konga from about 11:30 to 1. I'm getting better at it, but I'm trying not to get addicted to it, it's doing good at keeping me occupied though when we do play it.
Going back home on Friday for my Dad's birthday dinner, he turned 43 yesterday, atleast I think 43. So I've got to get out of here ASAP on Friday and pick up my sister at Mom's so we can be at Grandma and Grandpa Jones' by 6:30.
Anyway, I'm going to try and make it my goal to keep this updated daily. I need to add some people to my friends list so I'm not just typing this for nobody. Oh well... I'm pretty tired, so I'm going to go to bed. Nighty night!

Mid-term grades came out today, I have 3 Bs (Math, Web Design, Business Computers), 1 C (Speech, which should go up) and a D (Law, gonna have to work harder at this). My GPA so far this semester is 2.67, which brings my cumulative back above 2, if I can keep it around there for the rest of the semester. I've gotta do good. We'll see. We've extended our torment of Corey (the kid we stole the pillow from), Locke put up a duct tape box around the outside of his door and declared it a Corey-Free Zone and slowly but surely it's found it's way around 15 doors I think. I do feel kinda bad...Kevin brought up a good point when he asked us if we remembered what it was like being picked on and I kinda still do, so it struck kinda deep. We'll see though. I'm going to try and go to sleep now. Nighty night! (To anyone who reads this)

Stayed here this weekend, Doug was gone all weekend, which was a relief, I needed time to myself. So I could shut out the rest of the world. Went to Best Buy yesterday morning, hoping to find a Mini-CD-RW, no luck, so ended out buying another 10 pack of Mini CD-Rs. Oh well. Later that evening I put on Fahrenheit 9/11 and ate two bowls of Ramen. BAD IDEA. My stomach hates me x.x Note to myself never to do that again. Semi-watched the Chiefs lose, all hope for them getting anywhere this season lost. And now I'm about to turn in for the night, gonna scan my computer over night and get rid of a pesky virus that's pissing me off. (Keeps deleting my Google Tool Bar o.o) Mid-term grades will be available on Tuesday, I wonder how I'm doing x.x I guess we'll see. Anyway, I'm going to go to bed. Nighty night!

Just gotta get up by noon and go to one class, though I'm sure I'll be up by then, I hope. If not I'm sure Doug'll get me up. Today didn't go too bad, other than the fact it was freakin' cold as I'll get out x.x And raining to boot x.x So that made most of the day miserable. I think I did pretty good on my Math Exam, finished it in only 25 minutes, I was the first one done ^.^ So we'll have to see how that goes. On the way back though, I walked into the building and the elevators were turned off x.x Which equalled me walking up all 9 stories to my room, by the sixth floor my knees were killing me, and they felt like jelly by the eighth. Not that I'm over weight, maybe a bit out of shape, but my family does have a bit with arthritis, my Mom was diagnosed with it at 18 x.x So it wouldn't be totally impossible for me to have it I guess. I don't do myself much help popping my joints and etc. Locke, HeySteve and Floyd all bought the new DonkeyKong Bongo thingy, it's kinda like DDR, but it's with a Bongo o.o And you hit it and clap to the markers on the screen. Looked addicting, so I didn't watch long. Anyway, I'm kinda tired, so I'm turning in. Nighty night!
